Offer terms

LUCE INDEX CASA is an indexed-price offer for the electricity component intended for household end customers. The offer includes a charge for the energy commodity component indexed to the value of the PUN Index GME (National Single Price), recorded on the Italian electricity exchange (IPEX, Italian Power Exchange). The value of the PUN index is published monthly by the Energy Markets Operator.

  • The offer provides for an electricity commodity component price indexed to the PUN Index GME across three time bands. This price applies to both active energy and network losses, calculated using the conventional percentage factors established by the Regulatory Authority for Energy, Networks and the Environment (ARERA). The Customer will pay the Supplier the following price: P = PUN Index GME + PS, where: • The PUN Index GME is the reference price for electricity traded on the day-ahead market, calculated as the average of zonal prices weighted by the quantities purchased for withdrawal portfolios in each geographical market zone. The index, defined under Article 13.3.9 of the TIDE (Integrated Text on Electricity Dispatching, as amended), is published monthly by the Energy Markets Operator (GME) at www.mercatoelettrico.org. • PS is a fixed purchase charge, locked for 12 months from the supply activation date and calculated inclusive of network losses. These economic conditions are valid for 12 months. Three months before the economic conditions expire, EtruriaLuceGas will give written notice of the new supply prices and their validity period. If no such notice is given, the economic conditions, notified in compliance with the deadlines and procedures set out in the Commercial Code of Conduct, will be deemed extended until further notice. The right to withdraw under Article 12 of the attached General Contract Conditions (CGC) is reserved.
