Activation of electricity or natural gas supply is subject to verification that the contract proposal has been correctly completed, that there are no outstanding arrears, that the creditworthiness assessment is positive, and that there are no protested bills or insolvency proceedings. Verification takes place within sixty days of contract conclusion; the Customer is informed if the outcome is negative. Connection to the network, the Distributor’s technical inspection and payment of applicable charges are also required. Activation is also conditional on Wind Tre Luce e Gas not exercising its right to revoke the supplier switch under the TIMOE and TIMG rules, taking into account the status of the withdrawal point, any indemnity claims, the previous market, the history of suspensions and supplier switches in the last twelve months, and accessibility of the gas withdrawal point. If there are unpaid invoices at the withdrawal point in the case of a change of account holder or takeover, Wind Tre Luce e Gas may request documents proving that the Customer is not responsible for them and, if the arrears are attributable to the Customer, payment of the amounts due. Activation takes place in compliance with the withdrawal periods applicable to the previous supplier and the activation times for transmission and distribution services. Wind Tre Luce e Gas is not liable for delays beyond its control. For contracts concluded away from business premises or at a distance, Wind Tre Luce e Gas provides a copy or confirmation of the contract on a durable medium within the time limits set by law.
