Gelsia Rata Fissa Gas is a Free Market offer reserved for end customers with domestic-use supplies. The Gelsia Rata Fissa Gas offer has several Plan options. In return for a monthly fee, the customer receives a predefined annual quantity of Smc, valued according to the charges set out in the “Sale of natural gas” section of these Technical and Economic Supply Conditions. The monthly fee is fixed and unchanged for 12 months from the date the supply is activated. The Customer may choose one of the following Plan options: • XS: 49 euros per month (including VAT and taxes) for estimated consumption of 300 Smc/year; • S: 69 euros per month (including VAT and taxes) for estimated consumption of 500 Smc/year; • M: 99 euros per month (including VAT and taxes) for estimated consumption of 750 Smc/year; • L: 119 euros per month (including VAT and taxes) for estimated consumption of 1,000 Smc/year; • XL: 169 euros per month (including VAT and taxes) for estimated consumption of 1,500 Smc/year. The offer is subject to an annual adjustment as described in the “Annual adjustment” section. Billing: notwithstanding Article 10 of the General Supply Conditions, consumption is billed monthly. The monthly fee charged does not correspond to applying the charges to consumption recorded during that month; that consumption will nevertheless be shown on the bill. For billing purposes, the charges specified in the “Sale of natural gas” section of these Technical and Economic Supply Conditions will be applied to volumes expressed in standard cubic metres (Smc). If the meter at the redelivery point is not equipped to correct measurements to standard conditions, any recorded volumes will be adjusted by applying coefficient “C”, in accordance with ARERA Resolutions 737/2022/R/gas (RTDG), as amended, and 100/2023/R/com (TIVG), as amended. Annual adjustment: the offer is subject to an annual adjustment based on the customer’s actual consumption compared with the consumption provided for by the chosen Plan option. The twelfth bill will therefore charge or credit the customer an amount equal to the difference between the amount paid in the contract year and the value of actual consumption calculated using the charges in the “Sale of natural gas” section of these Technical and Economic Supply Conditions. Any debit or credit adjustment will also be settled before the twelfth bill if the customer withdraws, supply ends, or the offer is changed. In that case, the amounts will be charged or credited on the final bill.

  • In the case of a supplier change (switching), supply will begin within 6 months of the Contract being concluded. For other types of service (for example, a transfer of account holder), the start date will follow the timeframes set by the regulations. In the case of a transfer of account holder, supply will begin on the transfer date under the regulations in force (Resolutions 102/2016/R/com and 398/2014/R/eel, as amended), which may differ from the date of any meter self-reading or transfer request. As required by current legislation, the Supplier will inform the Customer of the specific supply start date in a separate notice. In the case of a transfer of account holder or a new connection in the Customer’s name, GELSIA may not require the CUSTOMER to pay any outstanding arrears owed by the previous account holder, even if the supply point is closed or suspended. This is without prejudice to cases of joint and several liability or succession to obligations provided for by law (e.g. transfer of a business or inheritance). GELSIA may ask the person requesting the transfer (owner or tenant) to provide a specific “Declaration of no liability for the previous account holder’s debt”. If this declaration is provided, GELSIA may not claim from the transfer applicant any arrears owed by the previous account holder for the supply. GELSIA may refuse the transfer when: i) the CUSTOMER fails to demonstrate, including by self-certification, that they have title establishing ownership, lawful possession or lawful occupancy of the property for which supply is requested; ii) there are previous unpaid amounts owed to GELSIA on other PODs and/or PDRs registered to the CUSTOMER requesting the transfer.

  • During the term of the Contract, the CUSTOMER may, at any time and in accordance with Annex A2 to Resolution 783/2017/R/com, unilaterally terminate the Contract without charge in order to switch supplier. When signing the new contract, the Customer must grant the incoming supplier specific authority to terminate, on the Customer’s behalf and in the Customer’s name, the existing contract with GELSIA. If the CUSTOMER does not wish to switch Supplier but wishes to end the supply and the related contracts, the Customer may terminate at any time by registered letter with return receipt or certified email (PEC), giving 1 month’s notice. The notice period begins when the termination notice is received. The CUSTOMER remains liable for consumption and any other amounts due if the Customer does not allow final consumption to be read and the meter to be closed. Any consumption between the supply end date notified by the CUSTOMER and the local Distributor’s possible closure of the POD/PDR will remain payable by the CUSTOMER. If the termination notice does not specify that it is intended to end the supply, the supply will continue under the applicable last-resort service.

  • The economic conditions set out in these Technical and Economic Conditions will apply for 12 months from the supply start date. If the supply is activated on a day other than the first day of the month, the duration of the economic conditions will be extended until the end of the calendar month in which they are due to expire. At least 3 (three) months before the economic conditions expire, the Customer will receive written notice setting out the new commercial offer and its validity period. If no such notice is sent, the economic conditions set out in these Technical and Economic Conditions will be deemed extended in successive 12-month periods until Gelsia sends new notice, always with at least 3 (three) months’ notice before the renewed expiry date. If the Supplier fails to comply with the requirements of the applicable regulations (Commercial Code of Conduct, Annex A to Arera Resolution 366/2018, as amended and supplemented) regarding the notice period, method of delivery and required content of a notice renewing the economic conditions with changes, the conditions proposed in that notice will not apply and the current conditions will continue to apply, except where the new unit charges are lower than the current ones. If the notice period is not observed, the CUSTOMER will also receive automatic compensation of €30.

To secure payments for the electricity and/or natural gas supply covered by the Contract, Gelsia may require a household Customer to provide, alternatively, a surety bond, a security deposit, direct debit of supply payments from a bank account, or another form of guarantee. For a non-household Customer, Gelsia reserves the right to require a surety bond, security deposit, or another form of guarantee even if bank account direct debit is in place.
