Offer terms

The offer includes a fixed price (for the first 36 months) and the offset of CO2 emitted by the gas supplied to the Customer, through the purchase and cancellation, by Magis Energia, of certified carbon credits. A discount of €0.03/Smc will be applied to the gas component from the 13th to the 24th month and of €0.05/Smc from the 25th to the 36th month of supply (values referring to gas with a GCV equal to 0,03852 GJ/Smc).

  • The supply will begin on the earliest useful date, according to the timelines established by ARERA – in particular, the activation of the supply for a supplier change will take place by the first day of the third month following the one in which the Contract is concluded – provided that the activation is compatible: (i) with the effectiveness of the contracts for transmission, distribution, and dispatching services for the supply of electricity and for the transport and distribution of gas; (ii) with the effectiveness of the withdrawal towards the previous supplier(s); (iii) for the non-domestic Customer, with the verification of possessing financial solvency requirements as provided in the General Supply Conditions and (iv) with any other cause not dependent on the will of Magis Energia S.p.A..   • Starting from the thirty-seventh month and for an indefinite duration, the following fees will apply: Commercialization component amounting to €179/PDR/year; Gas component equal to the value of the PSV-DA index + €0.16/Smc (referred to a gas having a GCV equal to 0,03852 GJ/Smc). The tariffs for the use of the natural gas network and general system charges remain unchanged and will continue to apply.

  • The offer provides for the compensation of CO2 emitted by the gas supplied to the Customer, through the purchase and cancellation by Magis Energia S.p.A., on behalf of the customer, of VER (Verified Emission Reduction) certificates; each certificate corresponds to a carbon credit (with a value equal to 1 ton of CO2). The credits are generated by projects that compensate for the emitted CO2, with different methods depending on the project; discover the projects at www.magisenergia.it/it/chi-siamo/impegno-ambientale.

The Customer is required to pay a security deposit, charged on the first bill, as provided by ARERA (Resolution 229/01) and by the TIVG, up to the maximums indicated in the General Supply Conditions. Bank or postal direct debit is considered a guarantee equivalent to the deposit for gas customers with consumption up to 5.000 Smc/year: in case of activation of direct debit, the deposit is therefore returned. If during the supply the direct debit is revoked or a debited payment remains unpaid, Magis Energia will charge the deposit again on the first useful bill. For gas customers with consumption exceeding 5.000 Smc/year, Magis Energia may request a security deposit, bank direct debit or other forms of guarantee, which can also be cumulative.
