Offer terms
A2A Bonus 10 Luce is an open-market electricity offer reserved for end customers who simultaneously enter into a contract to purchase and install an A2A Energia photovoltaic system. By taking up this offer, the customer is entitled to a bonus worth €10/month for 120 months, up to a maximum of €1,200, paid in monthly instalments on the bill, starting in the supply month after the offer is activated and subject to verification that the photovoltaic system has actually been installed.
Activation of a new electricity supply, or a change to an existing one, is subject to the relevant distribution network operator confirming that the network is suitable, the connection to the network being completed where necessary, and a written contract being signed. Activation and contractual changes may also require the Customer to pay any charges owed to the Distributor under the applicable regulations. Where necessary, the Customer must pay the connection contribution when signing the contract, in the amount set by the applicable rules or, if no amount is set there, by the Distributor. If the connection is not completed for reasons beyond the Supplier’s and/or Distributor’s control, the contract will be terminated because performance has become impossible. The Supplier will refund the contribution paid, less the expenses incurred and the related VAT, if due. Where a connection is required, activation is subject to: a) the Customer obtaining any authorisations, concessions, or easements needed to carry out the connection; b) the Supplier and/or Distributor obtaining any permits and authorisations required by law and/or public authorities; and c) the Customer carrying out any work for which the Customer is responsible. Performance of the contract is also conditional on the Customer not being suspended for non-payment, and not being subject to an indemnity claim from the previous supplier, when the switching request is received; it is also conditional on the Supplier not withdrawing the switching request. If the contract was not concluded at the same time as the supply request, the Customer must send the Supplier the duly signed contract documents, together with any other required documents, within 60 days of the request. If they do not, the Supplier retains the right to charge for supplies provided in the meantime, as well as any related expenses. The Supplier will send the activation or modification request to the distribution service operator, which will carry out the work for which it is responsible in accordance with ARERA’s procedures and deadlines. A household Customer may withdraw without charge from a contract concluded outside the Supplier’s business premises within 20 calendar days of the contract’s conclusion (the so-called right to reconsider). If the parties agreed, when signing such a contract, to activate supply during that 20-day period, a Customer who exercises the right to reconsider must still pay the charges for services the Supplier actually provided.
The Customer may request termination of the service directly from the Supplier at any time by submitting a written request. The Customer must provide the address to which the final bill should be sent and give one month’s notice, starting on the first day of the month after the Supplier receives the withdrawal notice. The Supplier will promptly notify the Distributor of the order to stop supply, within the times and by the methods set by ARERA. In any case, a Customer who sells or otherwise transfers, vacates, or rents out the premises they occupy where active installations are located must, unless otherwise specified, give the Supplier written notice at least thirty days in advance and provide the address to which the final account statement should be sent. If the Customer fails to request termination or, for reasons attributable to the Customer, does not allow access to the meter, the Customer is responsible for all consumption by anyone and for any damage caused by anyone to the Distributor’s equipment. The Customer must pay any debts previously covered by an instalment plan within the same deadlines and on the same terms agreed in the plan in force when the contractual relationship ends.
The Customer may terminate the contract at any time if the specifically applicable rates increase by more than 30% during a contract year for reasons other than changes to laws or taxes. The Customer must give notice by registered letter within thirty days of the increase taking effect. The Customer has the same right if the Distributor changes the supply’s terms or characteristics, provided the Customer gives notice by registered letter at least thirty days before those changes take effect. Customers may terminate the contract at any time by registered letter with return receipt, giving at least three weeks’ notice; supply will begin on the first day of the following month. For withdrawal without switching to another supplier, the notice period may not exceed one month. The Supplier may terminate the contract with six months’ notice. To switch suppliers, the Customer must arrange for the new supplier to send the termination notice to the previous supplier. In all cases, the Customer must pay the Supplier the amounts due for services provided up to that point. If the Customer returns to the enhanced protection or safeguarding service, they must expressly say so in the registered withdrawal letter with return receipt.
The Supplier may require the household end customer, as security for payments, to provide either a security deposit, bank direct debit for supply payments, or another form of guarantee. See the offer’s General Supply Conditions for further details.
