Offer terms

Free-market offer reserved for RESIDENTIAL customers - supplier switching only (SW-IN)

  • Gritti Energia will notify the Customer in writing that it has accepted the supply request. In the event of a supplier switch, supply will subsequently be activated in compliance with the withdrawal notice periods for the previous supplier required by the regulations in force and will generally, unless otherwise notified, take place within 90 days of conclusion of the contract. Activation remains subject to checks on the creditworthiness and payment status of the customer/supply point, the accuracy and completeness of the data, the successful outcome of any preventive measures required by law, and activation of the transmission, distribution and dispatching services. In the case of a new activation or takeover, the local distributor’s activation process must be completed, and the charges applied by the local distributor under the regulations in force will be payable. In the case of a change of account holder, the request will be completed within four working days of receipt of the complete documentation, and the charges applied by the local distributor under the regulations in force will be payable. The Customer grants Gritti Energia an irrevocable mandate without representation to conclude and manage the dispatching contracts with Terna S.p.a. and the transmission contracts with the local distributor.

  • The Customer may withdraw from the Contract at any time and without charge through the newly chosen Supplier, or directly if they wish to request deactivation of the supply, within the notice period and in accordance with the procedures established by the regulations in force and set out in the General Supply Conditions (Art. 14 – Conclusion, term, withdrawal from and assignment of the Contract).

  • A personal area and dedicated apps let customers view bills, check payment status, monitor consumption, and submit a meter reading each month.

  • Fixed-price offer for 24 months. Charges applied by the distributor for use of the networks and the metering service, as well as the components defined as "current", are subject to any indexation/changes established by ARERA, where applicable.

  • None.

  • The readings communicated by the local distributor will be used as the primary basis for determining consumption; the Customer may always submit a self-reading in accordance with the procedures and deadlines stated on the bill. If, for the same date, both a reading taken by the local Distributor and a valid self-reading from the end customer are available, Gritti Energia will use the latter for billing purposes. The self-reading is valid for billing purposes unless it is clearly incorrect. If there is no self-reading or the local distributor does not take an actual reading, billing will be based on the best consumption data available to the Company. This data will be determined on the basis of consumption in comparable previous supply periods or following specific agreements with the Customer. For further details, see the General Terms and Conditions of Supply (Art. 6 – Consumption readings).

  • If the Customer has not paid the bill by its due date, they will receive a formal notice of default by registered mail with return receipt or certified email (PEC), with the related postal costs charged to them. The notice will specify the final payment deadline. For low-voltage electricity supplies with a meter that allows capacity to be reduced to 15% of the available capacity, the period from the final customer’s receipt of that notice to the deadline for submitting a request to suspend supply, which will entail a capacity reduction, will be at least 25 calendar days; in all other cases, that period will be at least 40 calendar days. If at least 3 (three) working days have elapsed after the final payment deadline without payment, and the deadline for submitting the suspension request has been observed, the local distributor will be asked, without further notice, to reduce capacity/suspend supply due to non-payment. The subsequent disconnection and reconnection costs (a fixed charge of €15.14 as provided for by the TIC) will be charged to the Customer. For low-voltage customers, if the meter’s technical conditions allow, the distributor will initially reduce capacity to 15% of the available capacity. If the Customer remains in arrears for a further 15 days, the distributor will suspend supply without further notice. If supply is suspended or capacity is reduced without a notice of reminder and formal notice of default having been sent, automatic compensation of €30 will be paid. If Gritti Energia fails to observe the final payment deadline and/or the minimum period between that deadline and the date the request to the distribution company to reduce/suspend supply is made, automatic compensation of €20 will be paid. In the cases listed above, disconnection/reconnection costs will not be charged. Any previous unpaid bills are also listed on each bill. For payments made after the due date shown on the bill, default interest may be charged for the days of delay, calculated at the reference rate set by the ECB plus 3.5%. A customer with a good payment record—that is, a customer who has always paid bills by their due date during the previous two years—will be charged only statutory interest for the first ten days of delay.

For electricity supply, the security deposit is Euro 10.00 (ten) for each kW of contracted power. For a Customer with consumption of up to 15,000 kWh, setting up direct debit from a bank or postal account waives the requirement to provide the deposit. For further details, see the General Terms and Conditions of Supply (Art. 12 – Guarantees).
